Quoted from Daveeb2000:

If JJP had any clue as to what buyers want or to what is currently happening they would leak something to keep people from jumping ship with there money to the new shinny thing out (Stern). Help us help you and make us save our money for what ever JJP has planned. My money I saved for Wonka is slowly slipping out of my hands to the new Stern machine. Do something quick!!

No worries I’ll take that Wonka! The will release it when they are done and ready he made that very clear. No sense showing it now only to be picked apart by Pinside. I think they learned that with Pirates.

I wonder how many YBR's are left? Any distributors actually sell any yet?

I’m sure most will say they are flying off the shelf to fuel any interest. I know one I asked played that song for me. Not buying it sorry.

My theory is that it’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory version with Depp. Based upon the JJP teaser using gobstoppers from the remake.

Orrrr, as the original gobstoppers were actually jack shaped gobstoppers they probably assumed we would get the idea if they made them round. lol After watching Both movies last night I personally wouldn't care which move they used. My Guess is the original would be a Much lower cost license to pull as they already had issues with Johnny in Pirates.... I do like the music much better in the Tim Burton movie though.

Quoted from PinJim:

If they base it on the Depp movie, they might as well make a WOZ “The Wiz” edition.
It’d be funny if they aren’t making Wonka at all. Depressing actually. I’ve never bought a NIB pin, but most likely will if it’s Wonka. It’s nuts to think about dropping $10k on a pin. I mean, what do you people do for a living? I’m an engineering manager and $10k is a stretch for me to spend on a luxury item...

That would actually be kind of funny. We aren't making Wonka, we are making "The Sound of Music"! Dooohhhh. lol Any direction they go with this title would be a win to me. And as an added "Hope", I am hoping as they had such a long time between titles and the delayed launch on POTC that they had lots of time to really fine tune every aspect and detail of the game.

Quoted from delt31:

Always appreciate your input here. It seems like Stern doesn't follow this approach - they have set prices regardless of the IP, bill of materials. Interesting that jjp could be taking that approach. Who knows where pricing goes from here then for future games. I guess we saw that with yellow woz

I forget, how much is a Stern wide body for comparison?

Quoted from RichieWrench:

Did stern start a CE Edition of games ???? Because JJP CE #12 is mine -- You must be talking about Stern Edition
JOE --- WHERE ARE YOU?????? Clean this up -- LMAO

Yeah Joe come in here. Hear this offer, 12,800 for CE #12 and as a bonus I suspect you will never get calls at 3am again. Priceless!

Now that is funny -- A bidding war -- That would be a new one -- LMAO

Trying to help Joe get your list price up to 14k. lol
