Quoted from gorgar007:Every game should come with a chocolate bar. One bar has a golden ticket to win a free jjp title of your choice.
This is a really good PR move, they can even advertise it during the Super Bowl HaHa

Quoted from PanzerFreak:Willy Wonka designed by Pat Lawlor sounds like an incredible pin
Hell yeah!
Quoted from thundergod76:I heard Wonka is a retheme of WOZ and Toy Story a retheme of DI. This is just speculation and rumors though.
I highly doubt any of JJP’s games will be rethemes that’s what Stern does not JJP!
Quoted from thedarkknight77:Please, please let Toy store be a retheme of Dialed In!!! Please!!
I don’t think that’s what current DI owners are hoping for?
Quoted from Bublehead:Double post
Wow never heard anybody say Dialed In was an over cooked GB LE.Same old thing, nothing new, what the hell do you need.Maybe Deeproot has the answer to your pinball needs!
Quoted from JY64:No more so then TH and it took quite some time for that game to see the love it gets now
Oh I don't think that's right,Harry Potter is a huge brand that will bring a shit load of
interest from non pinheads!Done right JJP could fill Gringotts with gold!
Quoted from JY64:The first year JJP said that you said ok and gave him the benefit of the dought. The second year JJP said he will build 2 a year he was given the benefit of the dought. Year three and beyond you laugh and roll your eye JJP is not anywhere neer getting two games a year out
No doubt!
Quoted from iceman44:That is a HUGE negative. I hate DI solely because of the theme
Next
What Dialed In haters don't realize is DI is one of the greatest pins ever made.
Quoted from thewool:False.
To qualify for 'one of the greatest pins of all time' everything has to come together - design, theme, art, sound, rules, gameplay, etc. Sadly for DI the theme sucks big time.
What I do know about DI is it's a blast to play and Ive played a lot of
pinball in the last thirteen years. If Kaneda says its bad you know it's good
what a douche bag
I was calling Kaneda a db he keeps slamming my favorite pin.
Jack needs to send a couple wise guys for a visit.Kaneda keeps
bad mouthing JJP and kissing Sterns ass for whatever reason
Quoted from Capn12:What, we weren't talking about Waterworld pinball this whole time??
I thought we were talking Whirlwind?
Quoted from Pale_Purple:It’s about demographics. Yeah dudes in their 40-50s who grew up listening to GnR still like them but teens and people in their 20s? Their parents will be at GnR shows not them.
Yeah will it’s all those 40-50 year old privelige white guys buying the pins, right?
Do you notice how nobody is questioning Pat Lawlor’s ability this time.I guess it’s because Quantum City is so f$&ckin awesome!Hate theme or not it is top ten of all time.I hope Wonka is just as great with a great theme.
Quoted from Bublehead:JJP needs to pack at least as much into WW as DI. And here is why... Magic. Back in 71 when Wonka was released, kids wanted to here about Wonka, read about Wonka, and be Willy Wonka. Teachers read the book to their students, kids dreamed of seeing the factory and it’s marvelous magic candy making equipment. You can not expect to put out a pinball machine with “LESS” magic than DI and expect any pinhead to think, this machine is wonderful, this is magical, this is cool.
If man in mom-jeans was the high bar of “magic” for a JJP standard sized title, WW better rock my socks off or they are getting a solid “Mhe” from me. This needs a mech as cool as a flipperless mini playfield, a lower pf as cool as Munsters but full size, and some kind of Wonkatania, Wonkavator, or Gobstopper machine in order to move my needle off “been there, done that in mom jeans” with Dialed In.
What hell are you talking about man in mom jeans?Dialed In is the best!
Quoted from dirtbag66:Can we all just agree that it will be "WW" from now on? Not "WiWo", "WilWon", "WONKA", or anything else?
I think that already belongs to the greatest system 11 game ever Whirlwind!
Quoted from iceman44:Yeah I owned RS. Packed and an amazing layout.
I like all the other ones, just not DI which is what I was really referring to
There is so much to work with on Wonka I’m sure it’s going to be a jaw dropper
Purple trim for me. No gold or chocolate
Dialed In is the best and I've owned them all all except Banzi Run and his Sterns!
Game should have been titled Chaos in Quantum City
Quoted from Sinestro:JJP's Wonka:
Announced April 2019.
Features stripped January 2020.
Ships April 2020.
Special Oompa Loompa version ships in 2023 with even more stripped features and a price increase for glitter on the playfield.
Not this one dude, Lawlor will spearhead the operation. At least as smooth as DI was
