Please Jack this can't be standard cabinet because the whole world of Willy's chocolate factory has to fit in. if anything it needs to be a bit wider than wide. I'm saving up for this one. .

I was so sure this would be a wide body. There's a whole magical chocolate factory to fit in there, and I was picturing something big and colourful like WOZ. I like the big side to side bounces of wide bodies and the room to fit so much more. Still want one though as it's a holy grail theme for me, but will wait to play it first whereas I was considering a sight unseen deposit if it was wide.

Quoted from delt31:

For the guys not understanding the appeal of another GnR game.... Here's the answer. Jjp is brilliant for doing it.
GnR fans are definitely not young people which is good bc young people have no money. People who love GnR are old enough to have something called disposable income OR they don't care and spend whatever income they have which is enough to buy a pinball machine. Combine diehard fans+ an expensive game + money to actually spend = win.
Here's another win for jjp
Willy Wonka + GnR = best jjp year ever.
Excited to see them succeed bc they offer the most for your money period.

There's already a GnR game and it's great so why do another. Then again I don't understand remaking the Willy wonka movie(other than money). Those millions of computer generated OompaLumpas are rubbish. If it must be a music pin then perhaps Led Zep or Pink Floyd. Or Xgames or UFC. Or an original theme.

I really love Willy Wonka theme... one of my favorites.. this is one game I am looking forward to..the possibilties..oh the possibilities.. . makes me happy just thinking about it.

Nice to get back to a happy vibe, in a thread with too many insults, arguments and soapboxes. No wonder your refreshing comment has so many upvotes.

Quoted from drfrightner:

a) Create story modes to help people win the game. No ball limits you can keep playing just like a video game until you win the game. So clearly the game needs a pause function so you can save your game. Think about this from an operating standpoint as well...

I've been thinking for a while this should be happening. Even said to Jack G when he was in Melbourne that I thought you should be able to save progress as you go down the yellow brick road. I've got thirty video games on my mobile phone and they all save your progress. Really enjoying your posts drfrightner. Lots of good ideas. I too think this is a great theme for a pinball and Jersey Jack are the ones to do it, although from reading this thread it seems it might be a standard cabinet and I reckon it needs a wide body like WOZ, to fit the whole chocolate factory world into. Hope JJ can keep up the innovation and quality without going bankrupt.
