the ball sits in the outhole and closes the outhole switch. That in turn powers the outhole relay which causes the ball release coil to fire and kick the ball to the shooter ... during which it passes over the trough switch.
if your outhole relay isn't powering, the reset relay is still powered or the game over relay didn't reset.
the score reel switches controlling the reset relay are different from the ones zeroing the reels, so if your reels are zeroing ok but the reset relay stays powered, look at the score reel switches with the yellow and BLU-BR wires on them. They all need to be open when reel is zero.
per howard above, the coin relay should not be powered once the ball unit and game over relays reset. If it is, suspect the ball unit being sticky and not resetting all the way. Be careful in that stuff, the coin relay circuit is 120V on hot line.
if the coin relay stays powered, the reset relay will not unpower.
