Hi! I own a TZ since 2003, and is going nowhere. Last time I played TZ on The Pinball Arcade on Android because I'm so far away from home.

I noticed that I easily get the 'clock damage bonus' in clock millions and the Rudy quote in clock chaos, and I barely get them in real life.

It's just me, or is the emulated clock on TPA and Visual Pinball/VPinMame slower than the real machine clock?

Just to ask, is the real clock of TZ a pacing mechanism?

I've to say that in the real TZ I have L-5, in the TPA and VPinMame I use 9.2

Thanks!

The clock itself does not 'set the time'. No matter the speed of the clock, you have a set time to hit the targets.

Per Ted Estes, the game will automatically adjust the clock motor's speed (pulsing it faster/longer to speed it up, pulsing is shorter/longer to slow it down) to keep it in-line with how many seconds are left in your mode.

Very, very likely the difference is the virtual games the physics are different, which makes it a lot easier to hit the clock target than in your real game.

I would update to 9.4H honestly at home. I have a TZ and haven't closely compared TPA to the real thing. I play TPA as a time killer mainly when I am not near a real machine. The TPA games tend to be a lot easier in ways... The physics are definitely different.

When I'll be at home I'll try a "clock race", then

I think that it should be correct!

Robotronjohn, I think that you are right, I would also like to dump the L-5 roms, as are not present in IPDB, for example. I need to find someone with a ROM burner (I think I know the guy )

Thank for your replies!
