I agree, not bad at all. Look everything over carefully, the corrosion can skip some areas and affect stuff in places you wouldn't suspect. You're probably fine and it will be very limited damage, but you never know.

A remote battery holder, i.e. a 4 cell AA holder from Radio Shack with a blocking diode in the fourth (upper) spot.
Some more info here. One is Gottlieb Sys 80, the other is Bally/Stern, but the info still applies to your game.
