Hi all

While dismantling the playfield, I noticed these two wires arround the posts which are held down by screws.
Is this normal/factory? If yes, what purpose do they have? The posts are right behind the skull.

+1 Yes, the free end of the spring acts as a deflector else the balls hang up there if they're not properly adjusted outwards.
The Hook club thread on here is really helpful.
