Data East, 1990The wires fell off this lamp socket and the lamp would not light (duh). I am wondering if I can remove the metal parts inside the socket to re-solder the wires on? Or is there a better way? I couldn't get the metal tabs out easily and don't want to break it. Thanks.

Maybe, it might melt the plastic. That might be my only option if the pins can't be removed.
Well, I melted it really good, but was able to get the wires re-attached. There must be an easier/cleaner way?
