    I think, for a lot of people, it is more a case of, is it comfortably or enjoyably affordable as opposed to can you afford this or that pin. In my case, the prices, lack of choice (being in NZ) and having to wait weeks and weeks for parts (aside from shipping costs) when fixing or restoring a pin mean it is no longer fun "affordable" enough...sadly ☹ oh well.
