I dont think the price is out of line. In our area we have been seeing AFM's sell for $8000+ just in average condition and they dont pop up very often, so people seem to fight for them when they are available.

Attack from Mars is a blast thats basically why it fetches what it does. Its an all around package and extremely collectible.

We all know every region is different, so you're saying that you know his region? Maybe he's tired of looking for one and is willing to pay a little more for one? Thats what I had to do with the MM I purchased.

He can always apply new decals himself.
