Is there going to be a Monster Bash remake in the near future?
Quoted from JJHLH:I would be shocked if there wasn't a MBr. Great game which will sell very well. I believe Rick has already said licensing won't be an issue. MM, AFM, and MB are all low hanging fruit for the remakes. It's no coincidence that they are the 3 Bally-Williams games coded by Lyman.
Seems very likely -depending on sales of AFMr , this may be coming down the road sooner than expected...
Quoted from LTG:I'm hoping Kingpin is next.

I'm with Lloyd on this one please king pin I'd buy one instantly

That would put me in a bad spot as I'm out of room and cash
Quoted from monkeybug:Wouldn't Cactus Canyon been an easier path for a 3rd remake?
This is what I heard that it will be CC 1st then MB....but who knows for sure
I hope so. A lot of buyers will be lining up. I could not wait and just picked up a CQ game. It looks like it should be in a Museum.

Yes!

Nahhhh, Rick knows he'd have to update the code to make it viable. MB is generally considered complete. Not saying CC won't necessarily be next (that'd be great), just that it's more effort because of the code situation.

Yes
I need to save my money for pins in the future. That Is for sure.
Yes I would say if they did mmr then they can do it successfully check. I would get one probably.
I really hope they keep the hit machine rolling for the next twenty years. I wish all involved success.
Quoted from thedarkknight77:The answer is "Yes", although a lot of people want it to be "No" for whatever selfish reasons.
Well, as a MB owner who has zero intention of selling his machine, I really hope there's a remake. The more people who get the opprotunity to own/play what is IMO one of the best games ever made, the better.
Universal studios is currently trying to reboot all of its monster franchises. The first is the new Mummy movie with tom cruise. But after that all the monsters will be getting their own films, kinda like the marvel cinematic universe that Disney is doing.
My guess is that the license will be easily secured and monster bash will come out in a couple years. If it's not the next remake, then it will be the one after.

You know, this is actually a good point - universal is trying to reboot their monsters (so far, pretty poorly), and they seem to want to bring the monsters into a more modern design - they may deny the license based on that!
