I recently purchased my first pin (this is also my first pinside post), a GBLE, and it's fantastic minus a few adjustments I've had to make to dial it in proper.

One question, is there a way to turn off the Stern Shaker Motor? Reason is I want to play at night, but the wife won't let me because the shaker motor shakes the whole house, which will wake up the kids! I think she's right, its quite powerful.

I tried going into the GB Adjustments and change the shaker motor to NONE but that doesn't seem to affect anything, the Shaker Motor still goes crazy during gameplay. Is this is a bug? Still running the first version 1.05. Thanks guys.

unplug it?

Yeah, just unplug it (plugs in on the left side inside coin door (near tilt) -- just follow the cable from the shaker.

You can also adjust the weights on the shaker so they don't shake as much. I actually like doing this because I find less shake more effective -- nice, subtle effect.

Same thing on mine, when I go into settings and turn it off it still runs. Unplugging it seems to work.

Thanks for the reply guys... I figured I could unplug it, just wasn't confident enough yet to go digging around under the playfield. I think in the end I need to adjust the weights as well because it seems the strong shake of the motor is also triggering the Slimer bash toy inadvertatnly!
