I'm mounting two additional buildings on the back right of the play field where that crappy movie plastic is. Also, a 3 inch Dino sits above the left drop target bank. Also made old-school cartoon drop target stickers. Photos once I'm done. Thanks for doing this, the pin rocks~SpOoKy

The "dino" led strip is from Europe. Guy did a fantastic job with it. Don't have his info handy but will post his website here tomorrow for the others. I've got the "G" rating alt translite and will post that soon as well. But... the " Dino" LEDs rock! Much respect for that twist!~SoOoKy
Blonde tall: I made, then gave away about 12 sets of custom drop targets from the cartoon about a year ago. Sensing the popularity of this pin now, I may try and get a second set made. If so, I will pass some your way. Thanks!~SpOoKy
I'm going to take a sheet of the drop target decals to office max or kinkos this coming week and see if they can make copys onto peel n' stick. If so then I hope to be able to send whoever needs them for their pin. Will let ya' guys know how it goes.~SpOoKy
To answer the older question, the "alt" translight looks fine with led lights in there. No issues. Da×n this pin is getting loads of attention, and rightfully so.~SoOoKy
Very cool! Thanks for sharing! I am going to show off my " Rock Donalds " mod building soon. Almost got all the " bedrock bugs" worked out of it as well as my Stern like searchlights in a twist. Dino says " Hello" as well shortly. Have fun!~ SpOoKy
OK, so I got another batch of cartoon drop target stickers made. They aren't as glossy as the first batch, but I had to use a different source. I choose Fred and Barney but there's also Peebles, Bam Bam, Wilma and Betty. You have to cut them out, but not too hard as they are on a 'peel n' stick' type of material. You get the heads facing both directions.I have 10 sets to give away at my cost of$5.00, including the postage. Pm me if onterested .~SpOoKy

Yep, you can get a complete set for about $15 shipped, but, alas, two of the buildings work well in this " missing buildings" mod.' Freds house 'and the 'Rock Donalds' are painted in orange and greys. I also hand painted the buildings in aryclic neon paints, then.... drilled out a one inch slot in the bottom of each building. Then.... I broke off the top of that crappy plastic, while retaining
the metal tabs, that I pushed up back into the buildings and cemented them into place. After that I placed a 3- led light into a stern type of spotlight from Pinball Life and wired that through the ramp into the common GI lights below the play field. Much like I did in the bowling alley area. Different colors give off different looks with the buildings. Any who, either I was insane when I did this or drunk, but for less then $25 it all came out nicely. Any questions... send me a PM and I'll walk ya thru it! Nice! Just make sure to use Neon aryclic based paints. They make the LEDs pop big-time! ~SpOoKy ( of the missing buildings mod). Have fun!

The alt trans light guy is in the us, out west. I think I may have his email address. If I can find it, I'll post here and then you guys can pm me. He does run out from time to time. I ordered and he had run out of the PF decal.~ SpOoKy

All i have left to do is put the new decal of the cartoon flinstones on the playfield.
The game plays like a champ and is tons of fun.
Did the full topside teardown/clean/wax and replaced the fred's choice plastics as well as a few other things.
Underneath i re-sleeved all the coils, rebuilt all the flippers, and replaced a couple of rollover switches.
Put LEDs in about 85% of the game to really pop the colors.
Added 3 spotlights on the playfield to brighten it up.
Added the LED strip mod in the dino head.
It's been a labor of love and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Turbos apron mod was much needed and fixes a large issue a bunch of us "Bedrock" owners were having! Plus 5+ Turbo and thanks for sharing!~SpOoKy
Don't know if anyone needs this, but I have an alt-adult translite I'd let go at cost as I can't use it due to my kids. Of course it came with the game. Pm me if interested.~SpOoKy
So how is thee' old 'Bedrock' gang doing? Still working on a custom topper. Something very different. Turbos mod for the 'rollover' above the flippers rocks as does Ogeists layout for the cartoon logo overlay mylar! Thanks guys! Both work well!~SpOoKy

Also... I'm sure others will chime in here, ....but tomorrow I could post a photo of how my strip is installed, if that would help. I haven't heard of repo dino shells that weren't the same thickness, but any thing is possible. Hang in there, Team Bedrock will get ya right.~SpOoKy
I'm almost positive they are facing up, tied to the wirefeame with plastic zip ties. I'll take a photo Steve tomorrow for you with the shell off, if others here don't. There was just the one connector, white two-prong. Make sure they are facing up. Even with multiple spotlights around it, it still should pop!~SpOoKy
Steve... I'll take a photo tomorrow but honestly.. either you have bad LEDs or that connection isn't getting power for some reason. I'll showel my way down to the shop tomorrow before we get more snow again and grab a few photos for you. You may have to end up sending it back, but let's wait and see.~SpOoKy
Its an insanely great game. Deep breath..... if my photos match what you have done, either the led strip is bad or your not getting enough power to that connection. Tomorrows a better day.... hang in there, took me 9 months of going back an forth with Clive Jones to get mine right.~SpOoKy

Welp.... I guess I followed the directions as mine is facing down too! My paper had a little adhesive, just to initially get it in place. Easy to do!~SpOoKy

Wait.... Turbos looks much like mine. Compare photos of the Dino shell! The colors are all different. Spooks has orange trim on the left side, but black on the right. Turbo has what looks to be black all around. Steve has black with orange trim on both sides. Probably doesnt matter at all, but very weird that's there three different dino shells.~SpOoKy

I did the artwork for those target decals...I wanted more of the original characters to per mutate through
the game....lots of time to hand color those little guys.
I am glad they finished production in quality material and are available now to everyone, at Curlys.

You guys light up the buildings yet? Looks very good to match everything else. Its funny that, until Blondetall started this thread (thank you Blond) honestly, Flintstones was very much a sleeper, cult hit. Its come a long way with all the mods and great input from everyone!~SpOoKy
It is one of the biggest "sleeper" games ever. Loads to do and great humour! Don't forget the missing buildings mod too. Have fun and congrats on joining "Bedrock"!~SpOoKy
Play around with them in different places. Folks have come up with creative ways of being different. My spare buildings are going into a kewl topper. Don't forget to dump Rosie and grab the alt cartoon trans and pf overlay. Most important : Have fun and enjoy a great pin!~SpOoKy
