Got an Elvis that has flipper button switches that act up quite often. Half the problem is the location and the people who play it, but the other half is the poorly designed "self cleaning" flipper switches. It's part number 180-5160-00. I've installed brand new ones and they still have occasional dead spots. Has anyone tried just smearing grease on them? Or some other easy fix, short of just replacing them with the other style? 'Cause boy, do they stink.

I'd replace with another style.
