Quoted from imnitguy:I am really enjoying my Cactus Canyon SE remake. It is incredible and I'm happy I bought it. I saw on eBay that there are train tracks that are 3D printed that can be purchased $100 shipped. While I appreciate convenience, that is excessive IMHO as I have a 3D printer at work. Is anyone aware if a 3D file exists somewhere where folks with that resource can grab the file and print it themselves? Happy to reward creativity and convenience by this is like $2 worth of material and 0 of my time.

Most of the work is creating the actual 3d model/file and everything around it, not printing it. If a guy spend 10 hours making a good model, 5 hours testfitting it, 2h to print it and 1h to manage sales and shipping , should he only get paid for 2h of work? Your logic is flawed imo.
If the work to create a model is so easy and not worth anything to you then make your own 3d model. Guess it wasn't that easy suddenly.
Just to clarify, I don't have any stake in this particular game mod as I don't even own a CCr.
Also im sorry if I come up a bit harsh but this attitude many people have (not only on pinside) is really annoying me. Creators should get paid for all their work not only the "visible" manufacturing part.
