I remember playing arcade games (Simpsons, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat) a lot more than pins when I was a kid...

My dad was the one always playing pinball. Actually, I hardly ever played pinball machines, except for STTNG. This is the machine that pulled me in and made me a fan.

Took me 21 years, but I got one and I'm never selling it. Now I hardly ever play arcade games.

Quoted from Bendit:

How about Batman:Forever? I have done tons of research before buying my STTNG. Part of a package deal, I also got a nice led'ed Batman:Forever. They sit side by side in our game room (so we compare the gameplay, naturally). I am loving the Batman, and it's a much cheaper pin than ST. *ducks and waits*

I have both too... Batman Forever pales in comparison to the STTNG.

BF is a good game, however STTNG is a great game.

Quoted from Jvspin:

Boggles my mind. I look at Tron and see an ugly playfield with a couple of clunky shots and pretty basic layout.
However, so many people love it. At first I thought it was just loved by newbies that hadn't played any of the classics, but then I looked at peoples collections and that wasn't the case.
Tron got me to accept how subjective the pinball experience is.

Can't agree more... played a pro that was practically new. Bored after 2 games. I played an LE and it was better, but I would have a hard time trading my STTNG for the Tron LE (hypothetically if the values were the same).
