But then again, if there are some left, and steadily selling when the next greatest ever machine is announced, the new pinnie is unlikely to be listed at a cheaper price than ST, so I wouldn't be banking on a massive discount early in 2014.

This isn't Oz and it isn't like when people get tired of the game they're going to take an ax to it.
799 is hardly a LE, they will be around.

Only criticism I remember is the price vs the stripped down features.... and I assume the people that felt that way
still feel that way. Right? Maybe that's why they are not all sold out?
I wasn't a critic but seeing these kind of posts makes me *want* to be one 
We all have different tastes. Some like checkers, some like chess. Some eat paint chips, some play under power lines. It all depends on the person.

maybe one reason for the reduced amount of complaining is that most people have said their piece on the topic and moved on .... as opposed to, oh I don't know, repeatedly topping their own old threads reiterating the same stuff.
It seems as though LE owners are blown-away.
The next test is if/when the LEs sell out, and/or when they come up on Pinside for resale.
Til then, hard to say.
I'll say this: when I first got ACDC Premium, I felt I had to sing it's praises for all to hear.
Eventually I realized that it didn't matter what others thought. My opinion was the one that mattered most.
My STLE was 885.00 more than my AC/DC Back in black . It is a year and a half newer and has better technology .
