I understand the perspective...if you've only been in the hobby for a year or two.

But the market is simply returning to normal - distributors have healthy stock levels again, new games are expensive and are purchased knowing you may lose a grand or two when you sell them.

Used prices on good clean titles continue to slowly climb as manufacturers raise the price on new games.

Used prices on mediocre titles or heavily routed games are tapering a bit to pre-pandemic levels.

Quoted from JohnTTwo:

MM remakes are falling fast.

Lol - sell your MMs now before they are worthless!

Quoted from JohnTTwo:

No way I have a minty original.
I only think the remakes are falling because they are being re-run by CGC, they won’t fall much below the cost of a NiB machine.

I highly doubt CGC is remaking MM in 2023 (and maybe not ever at this point). They made around a 1000 CCSEs and 30 LEs in 2022. They have 1220 LEs and probably that many SE+ left to make before moving on to their next game.

I know their "plan" was to make a small run of MMSEs in 2023, but that was before they got so
far behind on CC.

Quoted from JohnTTwo:

Maybe so. I am only going off of what they said.

At one point they stated the topper was an LE only feature for CC...before they changed their mind.

I don't think they anticipated being so far behind on CCs when they made the MM re-run statement at Expo 2021.

Quoted from JohnTTwo:

Oh I see you own a MM Royal

and that means what? They aren't remaking Royals....nor do I plan to sell mine, so MM value is irrelevant to me. I'm just providing perspective.
