Unless someone knows how many GBLEs were bought for the sole purpose of flipping and what price they were resold for (if they were even sold), all of this is just speculative.
If no one buys pre or post delivery NIB from the secondary market then scalpers disappear.
I like the one question asked... How much is scalping: $200, $500, $1,000, $2,000? I didn't decide until the Friday after GB was announced to get an LE. By then, the best price I could get shipped to my house was $8,095 and I decided to buy it. I'm sure my distributor had a better price earlier in the week. Does that mean they were scalping? Nope, just adjusting price to demand (IMO). If they sold over MSRP is that scalping? How about if that distributor put it on eBay for $9,000, $9,200, etc... ? What is a 'scalping' price, whether by an individual or business?
