    Yeah that wasn't even true before Covid. My "Flo's Filet Index" passed that price point sometime around 2016 IIRC. Worth it, but still.

    Now maybe it was true for the rubber salisbury-style cuts but that's not why I went to Longhorn

    At least that's a better smokescreen than when the head gaskets on a Ford 3.8 finally let go. Because that was a "one and done" escape trick.

    Man I remember hearong how mysterious and finicky those original commodity experiments on 80's turbo 4's were. Nobody really understood them then. But now, the survivors can be made incredibly mean. The Ford 2.3 was amazingly durable, almost the perfect engine to build up... the turbo tech just needed more development.
