Lower the 'editable' post (with the rubber) on the right near the lane extender. (empty balls using menu/test/empty balls, lift playfield, use screw driver to relese nutt below the plafield, move post to close the gap, fix nutt, lower playfield, load balls) You can almost close the gap between the metale piece and the rubber. Fit the gap with a ball and most balls will be returned by the rubber into the right outlane. Left outlane settings, use easy mode in settings to get kickback all the time.
If you really want to make it easy for the family, screw a post between the flippers like WOZ. 
You will damage the playfield but it's your game, so do as you please!
Hope you enjoy the game, it's a real beast but fun for a longer time with all the modes.
