I understand, I doesn't do much for me either and I won't miss the game when I eventually get rid of it. I can't put my finger on any one thing, but your "cold" description applies to my sentiments. To me it is a game where if you add up all the parts, on paper it looks great. But in real life when I play it, it just doesn't mesh with me. It is probably a combination of the music, callouts, sounds, and the rules not being as intuitive (to me) as some games.
I hang on to mine because it is popular at my location. If it weren't for that, I'd have sold it a long time ago. When it is back at home I rarely ever play it. In fact, I may not even set it up next time it comes back home.
