Project Pinball buys and places the machines themselves. They maintain ownership and maintenance of the game. There is all kinds of legal stuff involved and not as simple as dropping off the game. The volunteer part comes from when they place the machine, they need locals to help keep the machine working. My advice is to meet Dan at an event and talk to him personally. I see him several times a year. In fact a local children's hospital here has a project pinball Wizard Of Oz.
