Dan is top notch and a nice guy on top of it. my guess is your initial offer might have been misinterpreted and your subsequent communications potentially hostile or off-putting. If you do charitable work for others anyway, I'm not sure the need to drag project pinball through the mud, just chalk it up to mixed signals and move on.
