My wife is completely on the other end of the spectrum and won't even spend money on the things she needs. I have to commend her for it and luckily we both compromise and meet in the middle on most things, so there is rarely an issue.
This is my wife and I to the "T" lol. It drives me crazy when she won't get what she needs or even treat herself to something nice.
