Growing up I was a victim of the home video gaming era. I loved arcades but the pins were not my thing. Closest I get to reliving my childhood is a game of SF2 or Mortal Kombat on my standup arcade cabinet, and its usually short lived.

Quoted from brenna98:This kinda..
I remember practicing/studying Mortal Kombat moves on Sega/SNES so I could beat the town kids at the mall arcade. There might have been pins in there...
Didn't start playing pinball till about 5 years ago.
Haha, same here. My cousin and I would take a magazine that had the move list and practice at the local 7-Eleven. There were always older guys with plenty of arcade change to burn, they would usually kick our asses. Every now and then though my cousin would give one of these older sales reps from Sears a run for thier money on SF2.
Its nice discovering pinball so late in the game to be honest. All the old stuff is new to me, even the pins that I did occasionally play in my early youth like TAF & T2.
