    Going to say no. You'd have to diagnose what failed on the display. If it is pin style you could desolder the glass, do your work, and resolder the glass. Lot of work for not a lot of payoff. If it is ribbon style, there are ways to reaffix it, but well beyond too much work.

    Just get a new one. Or put a request out for a used one.

    Some prefer the original. Also know someone who has two broken large dmd's with no burn in. One was nos and died after 5 seconds of use so the glass is perfect. 180 vs 500 is not bad at all.
