I use Millwax for my EMs but want to try something new. Is Mother’s California Gold was safe? It has carnauba but it also advertises gentle polishes. Am I’m going to wreck the playfield if I use this wax?

    Thanks!

Probably. Just order a can blitz.

I’ve used a couple cans worth on all types of games, no issues.

Same here. No problems with this wax.

Blitz is the way to go. Haven't found anything better. Carnauba wax is very hard. These car wax companies always ad something to the mix to soften and or clean. In my opinion the Blitz wax is the purest wax product on the market. Expensive but a container will last you forever.

I was once recommended Mother's wax and first tried it on the metal slide. The lemon Pledge
worked better. I told him the can of Mother's sucks, and he said No!, not the can. You need
to use the liquid (well it's creamy). I tried it on the slide, and the Kids flew off 4 ft. air borne.
No joke. Been using it on EM playfields ever since with nothing but good results. It holds
    up well also..

The Mother’s California Gold Wax is fine to use, but you're probably overdoing it with the added "cleaners" that are in this wax. I use MEGUIAR'S LIQUID CLASSIC DEEP CRYSTAL CARNAUBA WAX - just wax, no cleaners. I've been using it for years with great results on all of my EM/SS machines... I stopped using Milll Wax over 30 years ago - a strange wax that leaves a residue. I'm surprised you can still buy Mill Wax...

My wax of choice. Zero cleaners, powders or abrasives added. Expensive but worth it. IMO

The Mothers in the can is available without the abrasives.

Meguiar's #6 in the tan bottle. Been using it on EMs for over 30 years. It will remove dead oxidized paint but not good paint. Can do deep cleaning but safe for regular use. Can use it on clear coated PFs also.
