I watched a video on MM and game play is just, shoot the castle.
The layout looks too simple if you can master basic flipper skills you got this game down pat.
Why is this game #1?

Quoted from Lhyrgoif:Change "castle" to another word and that sentence applies to lots of other games too. The difference with MM that makes it stand out is the humor, great theme integration and pure fun, something many other games lack.
"Star Gate" is knocking I will give credit though to "attack from Mars" you can just spend the day hitting the middle all day long.
Quoted from MacGruber:Might be on to something I just checked the last couple ratings and someone just gave MM and AFM 10s and JP and GDZ 1's..like wtf dude is that really necessary?!
It's all about Williams really. Looking at the top 100 as of today the only table Gottlieb that comes up is Star Gate and that's after a splattering of Bally Williams dominating the top 100.
From what I heard GDZ offers more than just shoot the castle type deal.
Quoted from jimwe5t:Sorry, vpins don’t hold a candle to the real mechanical pinball experience. Lights, mechs, sounds, callouts, music, LCD back box: vpin experience not even close. In fact light years apart. I’d take any manufacturers offering over a vpin loaded with 300 virtual pinball games.
Having a VPM eases the need for having a physical collection, I think some tables don't need made are ugly or outright trashy concerning VPMs.
The cost of buying a virtual pin maybe is born up at front but payment on actual tables would be substantialy lower.
Theirs also more you can do to make it "lively" like knockers, chime units, and units that give tactical feedback.
having that VPM gives someone an experience that they wouldn't have compared to other who has that
Spirit of 76.
Cameras would bring VPMs to another level, being able to cast shadows and adjust the image to be able to interact with the surroundings and allow the pinball to reflect the surroundings more "naturally"
Quoted from Kneissl:I think at least the Elwin games are raising the bar on layouts. Stern is turning out awesome stuff. On the other hand I’ve been playing whitewater a lot lately. It doesn’t have nearly the depth or breadth of modern games but it does have serious magic.. especially if it’s running lightning flippers and whatever other difficult settings.
Stern Is the copy and past kings. Licensed themes need a low BOM to see someone painted or clip art on the playfeild.
This site will collectively wet itself over Stern pinball could release a LeBron pinball with an art package done by a five year old and people would still buy it.
