I just found out the one I thought I had secured doesn't exist. I'm not blaming anyone, I guess I should have called as opposed to email. If any distributors still have these in stock please PM me the details.

#2 4 years ago

In the same boat hard to believe it would sell out though

#3 4 years ago

Stern sold out on LE's. The distributors have them...all 500.

#4 4 years ago

Yeah, happened to me earlier today too. And I was buying an AC/DC with it. Go figure, I don't buy a Stern for more than 5 years and I decide to, and can't.

#5 4 years ago

There are plenty of distributors out there. They may have bought them. GAP says he's sold out. But you can try JJ at Gamexchange, or some of the others. I wouldnt be too worried yet.

#6 4 years ago

Stern dropped the ball on this one.............If JJP can sell 1000 of WOZ, Stern should do the same.

Good day to be a distributor. Bad day to make my first NIB purchase.

Each distro is only allotted a set number so it can be toguh. Dont hang around and wait for ONE distro.

#9 4 years ago

Contact Zdoor or Hemi, I believe they still have stock, and price is correct.

#10 4 years ago

AHHHHH First I miss out on a SWEET signed Data East Star Wars for under 8K and now I can't get in the door for an LE

Don't worry, more overpriced pins will be available. Just have to act fast.

Are you for real.. They are called Limited editions for a reason. If you make 1000 it doesn't make them limited. JJP hasn't sold squat until the products fly off the line.. at best he's sold magical air to everyone until he delivers.

Thanks, PM's sent. Hopefully to the right people!

Don't let anybody fool you, there are still tons of LEs still available:

ebay.com link

http://www.pinballs.com/

By the way, not suggesting that you buy from either of these companies.

jason at dirtcheap trading still has 4 of them

What ball was dropped? They sold 500 LEs. Now they can sell 1000's of Premiums (same features) and Pros (pretty damn solid in its own right)

#18 4 years ago

It's still pretty crazy. I've heard from three of the bigger distributors, all sold out.

#19 4 years ago

Pinballmike217 on here is a distributor, I believe. As well as Chris from cointaker, at least he was when I bought my AC/DC. You can try those guys too.

#20 4 years ago

The big guys are all out, from what I hear. There are a few out there with some of the smaller and newer distros. Definitely check with Zdoor and Hemi. They were delayed in getting their allotment finalized because of the Stern system crash, but were supposed to get double digits.

I would expect the LE to legitimately be sold out at the retail level in another 24-48 hours, tough. It was mayhem today. Talked to Rich at GEX and they were slammed.

#21 4 years ago

Isn't Terry one also?

#22 4 years ago

Terry @ Pinball Life
Chris @ Cointaker
Pupo @ Flipper Fidelity
Zdoor/Hemi @ PinballRefinery

It's been quiet from Neo ....

Within the span of a few hours, 500 people bought a new Stern for $7k without playing it.

...and he hasn't been here to post over and over about it.

I think his head might have exploded.

No go.

Pupo is sold out as well.

Try flipnout1@hotmail.com his name is Larry - never did business with him but he appeared to be legit and had games as of 5:00 today. Got a quote from him it was rock solid.

Stern's site is still down, so i can't check the dostro list. We need to compile a list of distros for those still looking for LEs or that were left out in the cold today.

Who has confirmation of any distro still holding LEs?

Who has confirmation that a distro is sold out?

As of 2:00 PM, GEX had only a few left. I suspect he was out by close of business today
Pupo is said to be out.
Steve at Fun is sold out.
Zdoor is sold out.
GAP sold out.

Sold out.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for letting us know. Glad they got their numbers.

GAP sold out
ZDOOR/HEMI sold out

Yes

At first I was like "what", and then I was like "oh no you didn't".

#38 4 years ago

Did Automated get like 100 or something?

#39 4 years ago

240 went overseas. I imagine Trent, GEX and Automated got their usual big numbers. Divvy up the rest of 260 that stayed in the US between all the other guys, at 10-12 per, and they go fast.

#40 4 years ago

This must be some kind of record, right? 500 units gone from retail in around 12 hours?

#41 4 years ago

K's arcade just started selling games - just thinking of the not usual suspects.

#42 4 years ago
Quoted from aingide:

Well, 260 ...I wouldn't be surprised if they're all begging Stern to throw 100 more back into the US market from the overseas allotment .

#43 4 years ago

Fastest run I ever saw. Stern announced "sold out" of XMLEs within a couple of days, but you can still find NIB LEs if you look. I haven't ever seen an actual retail sell-out this fast. And I know that at least one of the big distros was very surprised. The prevailing theory was that this would be a down-numbers title b/c of WOZ impending release and the much-anticipated Star Trak LE upcoming.

Nice surprise. Great for pinball.

Hopefully this ensures that Iron Maiden will get made next year.

Don't believe everything you hear on this sold out rumor.

Based on what? Who specifically do you know that has LEs left? Anyone?

#47 4 years ago

i wonder if its cuz the Premium shown is just not right - read another say a alternative design was in works for the Premium... Thats what made me pull the trigger on the LE

#48 4 years ago

Another Dirty Donny translite art was shown in the video

I'm probably in for a premium assuming no major design flaws. Which means I'm playing before buying
