The problem in doing California comparisons, it is such a big state generalities don't work. Northern California, Southern California and the Central Valley are too different to lump together. Example: The Central Valley doesn't have the high property prices of the LA or SF, but we also do not have the great weather, so it keeps the demand lower. Our demand is increasing though. Currently Fresno is the 5th largest city in California and 34th, in the US. While many of the larger school districts are losing ADA in California (student count for money), the Central Valley is booming because housing is affordable.
