I always get a strange feeling when i read your posts, kind of like you know too much about Kaneda, even if you don't listen It looks like you are making (negative) publicity for Kaneda all the time and he does it for you. Most people NOT in marketing will not understand that salesman, really good ones, have this huge knot of genes in their DNA that controls the "Shameless self-promoter" portion of their brain. They can not help but do ANYTHING that promotes their business, product, service, or themselves. If you don't have this gene, its really hard to artificially stimulate a mutation to create it, but it can be done.

Chris is a salesman... he's selling you a product of entertainment in exchange for notariety and recognition in his chosen hobby. He has won Twippies because he knows how to promote and has put a speed brake on his guilt to shamelessly promote his Podcast and himself.

You could have the crappiest podcast in the world, but promoted as "the worst podcast in the world" just might get you a following... it's pretty much a fools errand trying to figure out why better content fizzles out and why crappy content can be watched by millions... but I digress.

I found my shameles self promotion gene one day working with my brother hosting a membership recruitment booth (for the local childrens museum) that we had set up at the local anual airshow back in Dayton OH. Once you figure out that to activate the gene you have to consciously not give a rats a$$ about what people think of you, you can sell empty banana peels to starving monkeys.

But even knowing all this, it still surprises me that peoples undies get bunched when faced with a hukster just plying his trade. All the drama? Did anyone ever actually see the movie Ten?

Yes that was on my show The Pinball Nerds Podcast Episode 426 part deux. I did apoligize on the following show for the low blow I had said and he unblocked me on fb but I am still upset with how rude he was to a few of my buds in the RAZA reveal chat before getting banned.

If Chris returns my hope is he can stick to the shows not filled with personal attacks, and I plan on getting him on my show this month also.

The Super Awesome Pinball Show, probably one of the couple of episodes (episode 18 or 19) before the Dec. 4 episode.

The clip at the start of the gary stern episode was when my show Pinball Nerds Podcast last week when Franchi was on but he has chirped Chris on SAPS before also!

Are there any other podcasts that keep you up to date with what is going on in the hobby at a frequency such as Kaneda's without being a shill so they can get interviews? I don't get to keep up with all the threads on here and enjoyed his short but informative podcasts. Of course his rumors were not always accurate however he did a good job talking about what was going on in the hobby with an unbiased point of view.

I am open to other podcasts however many I have turned off after a few minutes because they were painful to listen to. I don't want to know about your weekend or what you ate for dinner. I just want to know what is currently going on in the hobby.

I look forward to the day we don’t have to hear about it anymore. It was nice when the name wasn’t brought up here and his fanboys had their own little club to gush over him.

I'm sure it's another stunt for attention, he has done this stuff multiple times now and always comes back.

The only time he should have quit was after losing the on-air-bet that Alien was going to be remade any day. He offered to quit his show for good if he lost. He also offered to get an ass tat. That was more than a year ago.

I didn't listen to all of the episodes after he came back, but the ones I did listen to made me think he'd get himself in trouble again. When I heard his drunk GnR review I immediately downloaded it because I knew he'd take it down when he sobered up. He's his own worst enemy.

I like a person who speaks their mind and it’s useful to have someone call these pin manufacturers out when they start their shenanigans.

And often informative. It’s not just filler...he actually provides info that most people don’t have.

Can we just call a spade a spade here? Doesn't matter if you like him or not he's an attention hog. I called it last time, I said the minute Guns N Roses gets close or comes out he'll be back with his podcast. Why do you guys keep letting this fool, fool you? Lets use common sense here... why would his work care what he does in his spare time?

That whole thing was a farce and people bought into that non-sense. Yeah someone probably called his work and complained about him, and his HR probably called him and said something almost like this 'Some moron called and complained about you doing a pinball podcast'. Then Kaneda used the event to cast spotlight on himself.

Then what did he do? He went to facebook and continued his podcast essentially so WHAT HAPPENED with his job being threatened? I guess that was a lie!

Why can't he do the podcast but he can do it on facebook where there is millions more eyeballs. It doesn't make sense.

Then what happened? Simple, the second Guns was about to debut he did EXACTLY what I said he would do ... he came back.

Now look at his numbers of listeners on his podcast they've plummeted he's doing at least 1000 less listens on each podcast. Then what happened, he gets all pissed off about the 5 dollar plastic trophy known as 'TWIPPY' he whines he complains then BOOM off the air again. With the Twippy's new system plus his listenership down by a TON he probably figured he was going to lose and his fragile ego can't handle that.

Now the rumor is Deeproot sent him a legal letter, who cares! What did he do wrong nothing? He offers his opinion and nothing more. Kaneda has never nor will ever influence a single person to buy or not buy a pinball machine. He's entertainment and sometimes he provides insight or news.

If its true that Deeproot sent him a letter, I find that funny because this is a guy who's revealed Munsters artwork to leaking the Stranger Things video and no lawsuits. Look this is what the MEDIA does they leak info, they offer information or opinions.

Kaneda knows he did nothing wrong, its just another attempt having people casting attention upon him. If someone did send him a legal letter, people send them all time, you tell those people POUND SAND and you'll never hear another word. Kaneda just like all the other podcasters are entitled to their own opinions, leak news, and everything between. I registered a URL World Series of Pinball, Caesars Casino sent me a cease and desist, I sent them back a note that said GO POUND SAND you don't own the generic words 'Pinball' and I asked them to identify when they created the term 'World Series'. Guess what I never heard from them EVER AGAIN and I still own the URL. It costs virtually NOTHING to send a letter. Kaneda just wants attention.

Prediction, I just think people are over Kaneda and its time to move on. He owns NO pinball games NOT ONE!

He's irrelevant on every level! If he does his podcast again good for him, and he will but in the meantime back to talking about pinball with people who actually OWN THEM, SELL THEM, BUY THEM, or create products for PINBALL!

Freedom of speech is NOT dead, people are speaking their minds more today than ever before in HISTORY! A lot of things that are said are complete lies but either way people are using their freedom of speech every single day just look at Twitter or Facebook!

Kaneda is just looking for attention don't fall for it. Yet one more time he picks up his toys and leaves. What does that remind you of?
