    Quoted from Jvspin:

If it is JPOP, I do see a few parallels.
1)Standard hardware being redesigned from scratch.
    2)Game 90% complete.
    3)Thinking about next game.

Same could have been said about WoZ when Jack started taking TH deposits

    Quoted from dmbjunky:

A lot of negativity and defensiveness in this thread but that's a good thing. They don't need a bunch of preorders when they haven't made any pins yet. Let them make it. Let us see and play it and then we'll be able to make a judgement on whether it's worth our money.
I may have been watching too much Walking Dead lately. That came out in Rick Grimes' voice.

    There are preorders
If you signed up two and a half years ago, you got a discounted price

But remember, we are buying from Home pin, not Jpop

    Quoted from ChadH:

If John is the designer for Homepin, then why didn't Homepin bail out Zidware when things went bad?

was there anything for Mike to gain from such a bail out?

if the money was gone, the money was gone,
thus no money left to build the game

    Quoted from Shastings:

While it's fun to speculate, the article is off the mark and I can 1000% guarantee Jpop did not design the Thunderbirds playfield. Mike is just having a little fun with Pavlov and trying to drum up some interest in this moribund project.

    this tactic may have backfired

I am on the verge of pulling out, as are two others

Mike really needs to communicate with his paid up customers better

    Quoted from PinPatch:

When you think about it, it makes sense. Mike has to design every component, Jpoop has already done that, so you never know

    Copy, not design

From what we have seen, the component parts of Thunderbirds are copies of what already exist

Jpop is not the designer of Homepins Thunderbirds

    Quoted from ChadH:

How about Homepin game #2 or #3 and so on?

    Not a clue

    @jlm33
Mike posted on an Australian forum (Aussie Arcade) that Jpop was not involved in any way
He did not indicate who was either

I'd like to think it was Python

    One last game

He and Thunderbirds would have been a great mix

    1 week later

    Quoted from supercombo:

Why not Barry Ourseler? He's rumored to be working with Heighway, but maybe he's moonlighting on Thunderbirds?

    It would not surprise me
    Mikes favorite game is BSD

    Quoted from MIL:

So what kind of clearcoat can we expect on the playfields Mike ?
    Hopefully something VERY durable .

As a buyer of TAG, this is my biggest concern
Who ever made the playfield for Bally/Williams could not get it perfect 100% of the time
Sterns clear coat varies a lot
Some WoZs have clear coat issues

Can someone in China, who has never made a playfield, get it right?

    Quoted from jokerpoker:

If you read Mikes responses and look at the quality of work displayed it would seem that he has the intention of delivering a world class quality product.
If YOU were going to produce a pinball machine would you be going for the "she'll be right approach" or "If I'm going to spend my hard earned money I better do this to the best of my ability"
Think some of the pix here say it all IMHO.

Fark, i have seen Mikes website and seen the TAG flyer
Now I an REALLY worried about the art work :p
