    Quoted from Wisconsinpinball:

I can 100% confirm neither Dennis or I are in anyway involved with this project, or John Popadiuk. Wish everyone involved the best of luck, looks like a cool project.
    Paul

    Quoted from Homepin:

The only thing I will say is to please read the LAST PARAGRAPH of the article and PLEASE take note of it. The rest is gossip.

My money is on George Gomez

    Why?
    1) The designer is a a well known American pinball designer
    2) Dennis & Jpop are confirmed to be not working on it
    3) Homepin has been in "ongoing discussions" with Gary/Stern
    4) George is a professionally trained designer. He's more in a management roll at Stern now, but you can never take creativity out of a creator- it's in his blood
    5) He hasn't been the lead designer on a pin since 2012's Avengers

<shameless>If Homepin ever wants a not-so-well-known fresh-blood American designer, then feel free to shoot me a message </shameless>

Nope. View this as a calculated business move.

Homepin gains product credability by using a well known designer for their first custom (non reproed) game.

Stern gains access to Chinese manufacturing for cheaper prototyping and lower part-manufacturing costs (still assembled in the USA though)

    Win win IMO.
