Quoted from f3honda4me:

I disagree. I've had pretty much no issues with mine either. People who's games work fine don't come to the forums every day to post about how their game worked fine again today.

It’s also worth pointing out that JJP made noticeable improvements to the line based on issues found in the field. More people are getting games great OOTB now and that’s a good thing.

I agree 100%. The game got off to a slow start (which I attribute to very few machines on location for people to try.)

Everyone I introduce to this game wants one. It is truly a shame to limit such an excellent design.

More than once I’ve considered upgrading my LE to a CE. Now I think my window has probably passed which is for the best given the other exciting new pins coming out. I did invest in a set of Radcals for it, as the Radcals are the CE’s most striking feature IMO. I’ll post pics when I do the install.

Quoted from rs812:

What caught my attention was that, if correct, the SE is actually the rarest model built.

Unsurprising, if you ask me...the LE delivered a lot of value for only +$1000. Shaker, invisiglass, powder coat, spinning pop bumpers, star map.
It was a no-brainer to at least get the LE (and I do have regret for not getting the CE.)

Quoted from BC_Gambit:

To me that was the math as well. CE was a no go for me (it would have added something like $5000 Canadian or more to the cost, and I only really like the (apparently noisy) topper out of the upgrades. I honestly think the playfield with the Davy Jones squid face is a downgrade over the piratey Depp on the other playfields.
But the +1K price of the SE for the LE was a no brainer, to the point I can see why they sold so few SE's (the underpriced the LE's by at least a $500 to $1000 in comparison).

I didn't care for the art package and barnacles on the CE and didn't think it was worth 3k. Then I helped a friend unbox one and changed my view.

Most of the "wow" was in the radcals though, which I now have on my LE so it's all good.

It would be great if they could put it on the smaller line (the one currently making WOZ) while Wonka is on the main line.

Thing is...there are several LE’s for sale right now that aren’t moving, and aren’t terribly overpriced either. Really not sure the market conditions are right for a POTC run right now.

And I say this with sadness because I think this game’s run was absolutely too short.

POTC a good game is way overpriced and the reason foreign operations could not sell them and sent them back.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you there.
