You could say Ferrari, Tesla, etc priced themselves out of the market also but you can't deny they make nice toys. Just not to everyones budget. When I first started in pinball I would Never consider a pin like this let alone NIB but with hard work (and a smaller basement) I have grown to appreciate quality over quantity. But thats just me. They make a beautiful pin and they don't seem to have any trouble finding buyers. I'm with #iceman44, can't wait for me POTCCE #17 and feel the cost was justified after playing many games local. (257) As for the "remake" comment... This pin couldn't be Further from a Stern remake in Every category. Unless your saying title alone which would make me question the 25 rock band themes they keep remaking. They Have to be out of bands by now!

Quoted from iceman44:

I will too. I'll cancel my CE order as well and just pick up an "LE" on the secondary market sometime.
Sorry but you don't get to jack up prices to $12,500 and just offer a few add ons.
There is/should be a reason they call it a "collectors edition"
Then again, "limited edition" means nothing either

I would just remember where that business decision started. Pinside. I would give that rumor 1% credibility like the Lyman retirement Pinside certainty. My CE stands based on what the Company says not Pinside thanks.

Quoted from ronaldvg:

And this is precisely why I said IF this is true. If I do not hear it from the company then it is just a rumor to me. Thanks LTG !

I’m sorry but Any rumor on Pinside that starts with “A reliable source of my brothers cousins neighbors friend” tends to be BS. If JJP or Lloyd say it I would back and support it. Otherwise it’s typical Pinside fodder.
