I did it a couple times before I was happy and was glad I did. A couple games changed from the original planned lineup and it just bugged me they weren't lined up "correctly".

However, I have a pinlifter dolly that made the job a whole lot easier.

    Quoted from MK6PIN:

Think that's the only way I'm going to do it...if I do....what about those "pinskates" looking things that MARCO sells? Do they work ok? Looks like they'd be easier to store than the dolly ( take up less floor space, my shop isn't that big)

Pin skates are one of the first things I bought when I got into the hobby - simple, easy and fast. And of course they are less expensive than a dolly and take up a lot less room to store. They work great. I don't have the Marco ones, but they look similar.

    Quoted from cottonm4:

Correct me if I am wrong but don't you have to get down and your hands and knees to load the skates to the rear legs?.

Somebody does, yes. I suggest offspring do that part ...

As I said, I prefer the pinlifter. But skates will work. I originally tried sliders and didn't like them, but that's personal preference. These days, the skates are primarily to help movers get a pin to a truck.

    Quoted from littlecammi:

Exactly. I put mine in groups so the different backbox heights would match up. Stern Playboy is on an end wall.
One side wall has ToM + MB + SS + AFM + W?D, then a wall-mount 23" flatscreen TV, then Mustang premium.
The opposite wall has BBB, then a movie poster, then CFTBL + TZ + IJ, then a movie poster, then SW:E1 + RFM.

If you need to move any of your games around, my house is available ...
