I need to replace the bumper fuse on my night moves machine. I fixed the problem that caused the fuse to blow.

I need a 2 amp SLO-blo but the hardware store didn't have those. They did have 2 amp time delay fuses. Is it ok to use the time delay fuse where a slo-blo is needed? I have the correct fuses on order but wanted to use the time delay for a few days until the proper ones arrive.

I think time delay is another way to say slo-blo.

Thank you.

In looking up fuse types they are listed as different types. MDL slow blow, ATE, time delay. The description at flippers.com referenced in another thread here, seems to indicate a time delay could be used but I want to be sure.

Good info. http://www.flippers.com/fuses.html

So time delay (ATE) will hold 200% for 2-120 seconds
MDL will hold 200% for min 3-5, max of 120 seconds.

So time delay will be fine from a safety point but may blow in a good circuit.

Thanks for this.
