Is it safe to put 2 NIB pins in the bed of a pick up truck. How did you do it? Both standing up with straps? Looking for the safest way to accomplish this.
Thanks
2 NIBs??!!! Ok, now your just bragging!
And yes, I believe they are factory shipped standing on end.
You can lay them on the "truck here" side. If you're concerned about rain, a $10 tarp works pretty good.
Stand them on end on the pallets they come on and strap them against the cab. I'd have no problem with that.
Just strap them down assuming that you want them to stay in the truck if you do have to maneuver to avoid a crash. I'd leave them upright and strap over the top (downwards) then strap around to the cab. Wider straps are best but if you just have narrow ones you might just want an extra cardboard corner or piece of cardboard in between the boxes and the strap in order to distribute the force of the strap.
