yup. The only thing the timer unit does on lotta fun is step up and eventually a switch opens and shuts off the motors. There's no wipers on the unit so they didn't bother to put it in the manual.

the step up coil is at schem A8. Something in the circuit up to wire 30 is open. The only thing that should be open most of the time once the shutter closes is the CU cam 2A switch.

note the game will not step the timer during replay reset or payout.

assuming someone didn't misadjust the 2A switch always open, the most common problem is the open-at-top switch on the side of the timer unit.
