He's Both, and Amazing that he is at it Every Day!

I have visited with Gary for 35 years at shows.
I may not agree with him or his business at times...thats fair.
He has always been a Gentleman to as many people as he can, when in Public.
My favorite was watching him teach a 7 year old, how to play for the first time.

As a businessman, he is nothing less then successful.
As an enthusiast, I always see him playing at the Florida shows for hours...more then me!
As a person, just tons of respect.

Now, if I can only get him to remember my name after 35 years!

I think he's a chest-hair enthusiast first. Let's face it, that guy just hates the top buttons.

I'm not sure that he can't be both but not always at the same time. I own two Stern pins - AC/DC Prem nib and PoTC - and have been critical on this site of the build quality of others - Avatar, RS come to mind immediately! I always remember what the professor said to our lecture hall the very first lecture of my first college business course - "The primary goal of every successful business is not to build the better mouse trap. The goal is to be in business tomorrow." I must assume that Gary was in a similar lecture or learned this early in life. IMO he has been successful and along the way we've gotten some very good games.
