I think its a good game but current code support keeps it from being a great game. I've had my game for 9 months and haven't had new a software update yet. It really just needs a fix for Slash solo, some score balancing, and it would be great if they could find a way to show the song value buildup on the display during the build phase. I think being able to watch this value build will make the early multiballs feel more meaningful if you had more transparency on what you are doing. The current software just isn't very transparent in letting you know how to score well in the game. I've implemented the recommendations that Eskaybee recommended which helps balance out the scoring and make it more enjoyable but the game really needs another update or two to make the game great. From a theme immersion standpoint the game is second to none and the sound and lightshow is unbeatable. I think the layout is also solid and fun to shoot although I wish JJP flippers had a better feel to them. Besides rules and flipper feel the game is great and hopefully the rules will be addressed in a future update.

I used to own the DE GNR and I think the JJP version is World's better. I'm surprised to hear how many here prefer the DE one. It's not a bad game but it doesn't compare to the new one in my opinion.

Quoted from fooflighter:

Say goodbye to weak inaccurate flippers - Default settings on coils
As far as the slings, bump up the power, offset by a couple points to prevent sling ping pong[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Any chance you could shoot a quick gameplay video with the new flippers? I'm intrigued but not sure I'm ready to make the switch yet without seeing or playing them first.

Quoted from fooflighter:

Please excuse the vid. I don't have a rig so literally clamped my phone to the backbox and flipped and rotated the image in a video editor so the quality is a little lacking
Also, excuse the play style, I didn't dare nudge for fear of jostling the clamps free and the entire apparatus crashing down on the playfield glass.
Hope this give an idea of the flipper action
The coils are on default, but the flippers do also have the Pinmonk fans installed.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for and it does look like they improved the snappiness of the flippers. Looks like I'm going to have to invest in a set for my GNR.
