I'm looking at buying a very clean Dr. Who but have never played it. Is it a good fit to any game room?

Well, I can't argue with the masses. It seems I am going to seal the deal on this one. Thanks for all the reply's guys(and girls)!!

I'm pretty much buying it unseen. I bought games from the seller in the past so I trust it is clean and works. Thanks for the heads up.
Quoted from mcluvin:I personally won't buy a pin I've never played unless it is a screaming good deal and I feel really good about it.
This makes total sense. Of the 12 games I have owned(Ive sold 4), I have only test drove 3 before purchasing. Yes, I had to do some repairs on a few but anything is fixable on a pinball machine. There really isn't the best selection of games in my area so I end up shipping a lot of pins. Life in the fast lane I guess.
I'm picking it up Sunday I'm super excited! I've been watching all sorts of old school Dr Who episodes as well some pinball videos.
Quoted from spfxted:Great machine! I almost picked one up a few years ago (beautiful with working topper), but thought $1,200 was WAY too much.
Ted, 1200 for a DMD pin around these part is unheard of. I woulda been all over that. Im picking mine up for 2200 which I think is a steel. I picked my T2 up off the same guy for 1800 3 years ago and I see them go for 3000 locally. I wasn't really looking for a new pin as I'm slowing running outta room and my bag of tricks is slowly wearing thin on my ol' lady but for the price I figured I'd jump on it and put up with the shit sandwiches from my fiancé for the next little while
Just got it home. This thing looks brand new
The ugh I got it from said it hasn't been played for 5 years at least. Thankfully he cleaned it up for me. Pics to follow once I've had some one on one time.
I really enjoy the lightning flippers on Dr Who. Ive only put maybe 10 games on it and am liking it so far. The Time Expander is super cool. Multiball on this game is fun. My 11 y old boy threw a few games on it as well. He's never heard of Dr Who and was having a blast playing it. I caught him watching Dr Who vids on youtube shortly after. He gives his approval
Thanks for all the feedback on the game. It really helped on the decision to purchase this title. I guess the numbers never lie.

Good to know. Thanks!
Quoted from pinball_faz:Mark may make another round of these.
That would be sweet!
Quoted from Jnewton:Curious where you found one? I thought they weren't making them any more?
I don't think they are. I contacted Mark at basementarcades.com hoping he may still have a couple kicking around. I suppose I lucked out because he's hooking me up with one. I think supplies are extremely limited.
