Could Franchi be doing a new Alien art package?
He was awful cagey on SAPS ep 20, today.
??????
They talk Alien for a minute or two at the 49 minute mark, if you want to hear it.

If this new iteration works out, I'm in.
I got to play Alien at 2017 TPF and Lodi 2018.
To me it's the best theme integration until R&M.
Good luck Pinball Brothers.
And offering the 50% voucher to those who got left out, is a great move.
Cheers.

Heres what I'm hoping for....
1. Smaller/standard backbox video screen, allowing for a real back glass artwork by Franchi.
2. Full new Franchi cab artwork.
3. Reliable proven manufacturer.
4. William's flippers.
Good luck Pinball Brothers, I hope you can pull this off. Watching Hieghway and Dutch fall apart, has been the most disappointing thing in this hobby, as Alien and Lebowski are great games.
But no game is worth $12.5., $8.5 would be a reasonable entry price point, if there are deluxe models above that, so be it.
Spooky's customizable model is my favorite, offer a standard, then tons of cool options if you want to spend $10 grand.
Anyway, good luck.
Yeah, I just dont dig the giant video screens, JJP and Hieghway back boxes are just ugly to me. I'd rather have a great art package, whoever does it.
$12 is a no go. They need to offer a basic model at $7.5 or so, then do the Spooky add a feature to bling it out if you want.
Topping out with all the trimmings at $10.5 or so.
I'll pay $9.5 tops.

Are there any serious rumours that it could be built in the U.S.? American, CGC?
Those would be ideal.
It all comes down to what customer base they want to sell to.
200 rich collectors with more cash than brains.
Or the majority of pinheads with no brain's like me.
Ok its 12 AM friday on the east coast, where's the podcast?
Waiting Message from the Freeeek Kingdom.
First they've got to build enough to fill a good sized container to make it economically feasible.
Sounds like they are gonna take the early builds slow-good idea- I would guess the first north American shipment arrives in march, at best.

Like Flynn said above..
Sound A+
Theme integration A+
The wide body shots take a game or two to get used to, but fun and interesting layout.
The playfield screen was cool, but never noticed it as I played. The animation on the screen was just the same as on the back box screen.
So nothing is really lost.
The new weapon inserts, sound more useful to gameplay than another screen that might break.
Quoted from Knx873:I them both like I am and you’ll be safe lol
That must be that good Canadian weed talkin.
I would never buy an original Alien, I dont have the skills to keep it running.
What the pin community have done to keep them on life support in astounding.
In the other Alien thread you can hear the owners clenching thier teeth, that there looks to be a reliable, improved Alien around the corner.
But who in thier right mind would not want the PB version, that has been upgraded with reliable Electronics and mechs?
I've been hoping for the last 3 years that the remake would happen, as I think it's the best theme integration in all pinball.
