Quoted from Engel67:

Already ordered my topper from Walmart.

Ordered one. It's really nice and can be posed better but I'm thinking it may be too big for the machine. Opinions?

Quoted from dts:

Nice! Is he doing the "live long and prosper" gesture? Ragtime chestburster for mine.
[quoted image]

I noticed that too. Didn't realize he was such a friendly xenomorph.

Quoted from Indypin:

Is there a way you can have him facing forward, with his knees bent in a crouched position as though he’s about to leap towards the player. I have a smaller, detailed Neca version of this guy in that position on the playfield near the far right, upside down ramp and he looks awesome. Kinda looks like he’s guarding the alien eggs. I’ll take a pic.

Couldn't figure out how to get it in a crouched position and stay vertical, but kneeling works well.

Quoted from Lethal_Inc:

If there are problems, will the first customers be taken care of to be fixed?

If PB is planning on being a viable company they will need to take care of the first customers. Hopefully they've found and fixed all the major issues, if any, before putting them in customer's hands. Cointaker ran into this problem the first time around as the distributor. Much harder to take care of issues away from the factory.

Quoted from rai:

I’m supposed to pay the balance due but I’m not sure I’ve seen enough.
I wanted to see what the LE looks like and see what issues people are having too.

If time in this hobby has taught us anything, it's that patience is a virtue. Especially regarding unlimited run games and games from new companies.

That being said, I think the new Alien looks great and I like a lot of the changes.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Do any of the shots in alien always feed the pops? If not, what’s the best way to shoot the pops if you need those or top lanes?

There are divertors up top. When appropriate, the machine will divert the ball into the pops to collect pop bumper hits and feed the upper flipper.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Xeno MB worked pretty well. The magnet didn’t always grab the ball at the start. So the xeno would just eat nothing.

This has been one of my main concerns on the original. If the xeno doesn't grab the ball, it's possible for the tongue to get wacked while it's extended (unless I'm missing something). I wonder if they addressed this on the remake? One fix I can think of is to disable the flippers while the tongue is extended.

#3765 2 years ago
Quoted from chuckwurt:

I wouldn’t worry about that. The process take only a second. I doubt the tongue ever gets damaged.

The ball is wild if the xeno doesn't catch it, which can happen if the ball bounces off the edge of the target.
Plenty of time for the tongue to get hit as it extends and retracts. I try not to hit the ball when this happens.

Quoted from kciaccio:

Is anybody still having questionable operation of their post popping up during orbit shots on Derelict ship and Queens nest mode?
I am getting tired of entering the mode and 90 percent of the time zooming past egg pop bumpers in orbit shots.

Just checked on my original running v1.4. The divertors seem to be working as expected. For Derelict ship the blue lit shot diverts, the green lit shot goes through. For Queens Nest, both orbit shots divert into the pops. In testing both modes, nothing else was qualified. I had the glass off and only activated the mode before testing.

Perhaps someone can verify the PB version.
