At least not a $1500.00 deposit..
Man, do I hope these really get made and supported...would be awesome!!

Quoted from Valorguy:I'm in for the LE....
That will be good for the fall of 2021 - something to look forward to.
2k more for LE.....No Brainer regardless what the extras are.....going in blind...WOOHOO

Hey yeah.. whats the guarantee this is real? Haven't we been through all this before?

Deposit is $1000 plus $418 for shipping....So $1418 today.
Quoted from MK6PIN:The apron on the original was " centered" properly, just cheap plastic.
Look at TronLE, TZ, and a multitude of other games.
Orientation is to the playfield flipper geometry, not the cabinet...otherwise you start covering up things
It is nice to see metal on this one..
My original apron is centered to the game but not the flippers, as you know!
Quoted from dts:My original apron is centered to the game but not the flippers, as you know!
Not an apron thread...look at the games I mentioned and it will make sense ( maybe)...
Manufacturer :
Pedretti Gaming in Italy **They are putting everything together from what the podcast says.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Hey yeah.. whats the guarantee this is real? Haven't we been through all this before?
Some of us....I hope for the best, and a strong chance I pickup an LE to go w my original when if I can put my hands on one...
Best of luck....out of this thread...

Hmm.
I'm not sure if this is good news, at least based upon my dad's stories about the FIAT he owned in the 70s!
Quoted from MK6PIN:Not an apron thread...look at the games I mentioned and it will make sense ( maybe)...
This is the remake thread, and talking about differences is fine.
I have Pirelli tires, they are good so far.
Last time I was in Italy, they made good gelato and margherita pizzas too.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:I have Pirelli tires, they are good so far.
How many moving parts in those tires?
Do we have any Italians here? Would be interesting to hear if anybody has any background on this company and their products.
Which is why I am super excited...and firmly still on the sidelines.
I sincerely hope that All you risk takers are in for a fantastic game. Hopefully there will be some LEs left for those of us taking a wait and see approach.
Bottomline, As long as games ship, it is great for the community, even if I personally miss out.

Looks like they sell used games and produce pinball mods and build 60-1 arcade cabs.
And now they are gonna build pinball machines from scratch.
in bocca al lupo!
My guess is you don't want to be first in line on these. Probably gonna be some kinks that need to get worked out.
Ciao!
I was paid in full in March 2017 on a standard right before shipping was imminent. Going to wait from the sidelines this time around until games are actually built and delivered. I love the game and theme but no more pre-orders for me from new companies without a reliable track record.
Screenshot_20201213-174634_Samsung Notes (resized).jpgQuoted from RTS:Yes you're correct on the $8-8500 evaluation, not 12k as stated before. Before the remake, MM prices were pushing $15-20k.
You missed the point, new are selling 12k for the latest remakes, and the prices for older have not dropped. I had already acknowledged old ones were 15k before the remakes. It's a numbers game, MM is still highly sought after, and there are more of them out there than OG Aliens. which is also a highly sought theme.
Your money is probably safe with Cointaker, but I will have to see these rolling out in the US by the dozens before I will be confident that this company can build them for the stated cost.
I feel like playing some Alien right now! But I only play during the day , its scary at night by myself in the basement, I feel like something breathing on me from behind while Im playing. Hairs on my neck stand up.
Yeah, I honestly want to hold out for an LE, then the question becomes...will it last until then? It certainly looks like they are well on the way, crossing fingers.
EDIT: Did I miss it, have they said what is different on the LE?
Quoted from Oneangrymo:I feel like playing some Alien right now! But I only play during the day , its scary at night by myself in the basement, I feel like something breathing on me from behind while Im playing. Hairs on my neck stand up.
This game def needs a shaker...but a cool mod is a few rubber knockers timed to simulate the alien running around inside the cab would scare the *&^%$ out of non pinheads....
Did you guys ever go on that Alien Encounter ride at Disney before it was taken down? Now that was some scary shit.
Wow, glad I never posted my prediction on what the price was going to be -- I really thought it would be higher than this.
You have to give them credit for trying to make things right with the pin community, I hope they are successful.
A comparison of what the old game had versus new game (Pluses or minuses) would be great... This would have to come from someonw who owns one now, of course.
I have never played the old game - so in the dark so to speak.... With eggs breaking open and things coming out...

Oh man..that would be an awesome mod...the eggs that pop open with a facehugger popping up each time you hit the bumper!

LMAO! Nice work
If only you can get the Alien behind the wheel of a mid-70s FIAT...
Quoted from Returner:Playfields made in Germany
Hopefully that means they are from Peter Buthamburg as their quality on the repros seems to be top-notch!
Quoted from Zablon:EDIT: Did I miss it, have they said what is different on the LE?
They claim (much like Deeproot) that the core gameplay is the same and the limited edition is more cosmetic with a few additional or different “toys” but nothing that directly interacts with the ball. This is stark contrast to Stern where you get vastly different games across the tiers.
So when is the Jack Danger stream of the new version...
I'm personally pretty excited about this as I was taking a break from pinball when the Heighway fiasco played out and I hadn't really paid much attention to Alien afterwards. I got my deposit in to Cointaker at 11:57 EST so am hopefully pretty low on the list. Time to move a machine or two to make room.
Quoted from bobukcat:Hopefully that means they are from Peter buthamburg as their quality on the repros seems to be top-notch!
Yes
At that price, and Cointaker holding deposit money, I’d load in all day fellas!
In fact I’ll prob add an LE to go with the original LE currently have to put in another location
Alien Hypersleep chamber shall be in this a real 3-ball lock instead of the virtual one in the original! Cool!

I'll admit it's pretty tempting, have to see how the first batches that show-up look and if they have issues.
Quoted from bobukcat:I'll admit it's pretty tempting, have to see how the first batches that show-up look and if they have issues.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing with a larger company it’s probably OK to wait but with a smaller petite company like this I’d be worried they stop production early or some thing and it would be nice to get a unit before they file Chapter 11 fingers crossed they don’t LOL
Quoted from Shapeshifter:CGC makes sense - lots of talk earlier this year they were making Alien.
Goddammit! I told you 2 years ago that no established pinball manufacturer would take this project on, because it made absolutely zero sense.
One of the reasons an unknown Italian used pinball seller is being called upon to build these, clearly.
Quoted from gliebig:Can someone explain how the weapons are used?
Do NOT fire live ammunition under the oxygen producing nuke plants.

In your opinion Melissa Cointaker is totally foolish? She loves loose time with nothing in her hands?
