Ah Alien, The Hope Diamond of Pinball.
This game could be THE game for this holiday season. I’m sick of all the Stern and JJP who’s dick is longer talk.
2 models
1 now and a higher priced model in 6+ months.
$7,777 before shipping
Now sit back and let’s see if this correct here shortly.
There will be 2 models....
One ready to ship in January.
The "LE" supposed to be done in 6 to 8 months.....
******UUUGHHH - I hate waiting for the LE model, lol*******
Quoted from Dr-pin:Seems strange having a company from sweden, making their pinballmachine in the us and thus making it unobtainable in sweden.
It’s actually a British company, with Swedish and Norwegian directors. The plot thickens...
If CGC makes it I may reconsider and move my EHOH deposit over. I am new to pinball since last year and an Alien pin definitely has my attention.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:CGC makes sense - lots of talk earlier this year they were making Alien.
To be fair a lot of that was debunked / refuted by some pretty key people who stated CGC has their own stuff in the pipeline, possibly including a non-remake game of their own creation as well as the next remake so they had no interest in taking on production of this game. I guess we'll know pretty soon one way or the other!
Quoted from Oneangrymo:What is the link? the one above? I want to see!

Edit oops I thought you meant the podcast
Quoted from Oneangrymo:What is the link? the one above? I want to see!
Your collection kicks ass.....19 and counting....a nice round number like 20 sounds better...lol
Quoted from Yipykya:Oh my! I don't believe it. A number of these pins are actually ready to ship. I won't say how I've come to believe this because I don't want to get anyone in trouble, and I don't want to jinx it.
So now that I'm firmly and safely tucked into my flame suit I'll say this: you'll know if I'm right in less than 24 hours. So just wait a bit before you roast and skewer me.
I know that sounds impossible, unimaginable, unfathomable, crazy, but... I have quietly gathered my ducks and formed them in a neat row pending tomorrow's announcement (being the optimistic sucker that I am).
As for the rest of you, as Ash once said: I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.
Edit: I received news this morning that conflicts with what I was told yesterday. Nothing to be alarmed about but maybe these aren't ready to ship as quickly as I was lead to believe. I don't know what to believe at this point but hopefully we'll know in a few hours.
The joy I'm filled with in knowing Alien is about to be offered with support has overcome any angst about delivery swiftness.
Unrelated Question: If one were to build up a stash of proprietary spare parts for this specific pin in anticipation of a breakdown or in case they became difficult to find for repairs in the far off future, what would you be squirreling away now?
It's a better game without the PF LCD, straight from the horse's mouth.
Also physical hypersleep lock - wow...
Nice , Nice. Looks nice for a standard. Hope we hear about what the LE will have. Might be making my deposit now for this . So only 2 models??
I'm in!
Although I admittedly made a hypocrite out of myself for doing so, as I am one of those who preach "cash on the glass" when buying a NIB game, but with this title I have a feeling I won't have much difficulty finding someone to take my spot if I get cold feet for some reason.
Listening to the podcast now. Love these guys and they have great contact, but 2 hours and 40 minutes for todays podcast is really long. I am never going to get any work done today. Wish they broke it up into 3 podcasts.
Quoted from McDoom:What’s the difference between the LE and the Standard for this release??
Million Dollar Question. THE SE is loaded.
Quoted from Nysbadmk8:Please tell me where, cause I cant find anything. Regular classic remakes still bring 8-8500.
Yes you're correct on the $8-8500 evaluation, not 12k as stated before. Before the remake, MM prices were pushing $15-20k.
Bloody hell classic example of why I don’t listen to American podcasts lol. I really can’t get on board with such over-dramatics and stupid sound effects. It’s like listening to Dingo and the Baby. Thanks to the person who identified the time stamp for the alien bits.
Does anyone know if I put the deposit down on the standard through coin taker would it be able to rollover to the LE when the details are released?
but who is making the game?? We all are aware by now lots of people can design a game but there are only a few company's
who can actually build a game ! Who is building this beast??
Impressive price point for an epic game! The cabinet isn't really in the same league as the original imo, so it may play a bit differently in terms of the feel/mass of the machine. No playfield LCD but a pretty large backbox screen. Looks good! So a couple of thousand more for an LE, perhaps, pretty impressive! LE: add illuminated side blades and back art, beacons, shaker, anti-glare glass...$10k? Maybe, with any luck, they will bring back the playfield LCD.
Looks great, Im glad others will enjoy this amazing game now. To the masses!
Who will be distributor besides cointaker?
Website online https://www.pinballbrothers.com/alien/
$7777 for standard $9999 for LE
Several European distributors but no U.K. one which may be a problem come January 1st if there’s no Brexit trade deal agreed.

Quoted from dts:The apron is centered properly!
The apron on the original was " centered" properly, just cheap plastic.
Look at TronLE, TZ, and a multitude of other games.
Orientation is to the playfield flipper geometry, not the cabinet...otherwise you start covering up things
It is nice to see metal on this one..
Im in ,but I will wait for LE, maybe itll have built in undercab lighting, and other cool toys
Its pretty good at this price!
Quoted from Valorguy:I'm in for the LE....
That will be good for the fall of 2021 - something to look forward to.
I concur. Good idea, Fall.
