I would like to ask you a question. If you have time please PM me.

The answer is yes, you've always subconciously wanted to have sex with your mom, but it's perfectly normal!

That'll be $50 paypaled to me James. Thanks.

No, but I did stay at Holiday Inn Express last night.

Call your health insurance provider. Odds are good if you have a major carrier that you can schedule a phone visit with a psychologist or therapist and not even have to pay a copay.

Clinical Psychologist here but kind of worried about responding to a fellow pinsider. Then again, Pinside is similar to what I see everyday at the office hahaha just kidding....kinda

You'd have a field day analysing some of the mega posters on this website.

Can you give us a DSM code for the most common disorder you see on Pinside?

297.1 (F22) Delusional Disorder

Somehow when I scanned quickly, I thought the thread of this title said "proctologist"

That's a good one! Grandiose type to be specific.

Someone looking for a proctologist?

- Playfieldaphobia
- Intermittent Explosive Pricing Disorder
- Major Depressive Where's The Code Disorder
- Antisocial Kaneda Personality Disorder

Love the community. Love pinball. I find that people on the forum are empowered by having a voice in a smaller social group, so they use the medium to be heard. Combine that opportunity with a personal passion, this being pinball, and the statements become louder and bolder. A caricature of themselves, if you will. People on here are awesome, funny, kind, and yes, typical humans, so there is some bigotry, discrimination, and hatred.

Well you can give it a shot, but there are no words in any language to describe the obsession we suffer from

Hope you get your questions answered!

Freud. What a strange ass dude

A man who did more cocaine than Rick James then told everyone they're obsessed with dicks & moms lol.

Reminds me of Poe. A poet who ate herion, married his cousin & figured out a massive cosmological theory hundreds of years before legit scientists IIRC

The takeaway.... be weird

So what is wrong with a little incest. The Duponts and Kennedys have been doing it for ages and there is nothing wrong..... Oh never mind.

I fully expect to see these in DSM V.

I've never taken Zanax in my life but I think I need to after reading this thread.

I can't help you with your noodle but if your looking for pinball lessons I heard of this guy name Carl. He sounded full batshit crazy but was serving Shasta and deli meats during the break, so he can't be all that bad.

It's spelled with an "X".

Not to be the grammar police... but DSM also changed their name with the 5th edition, doing away with the roman numeral. Bunch of dummies...

Oh seriously? That's not grammar, thats just straight up knowledge that I clearly don't have. When I was taking Psyc college classes the most recent version was DSM IV. What is it called now?

It's still in sequence, just now DSM 5 (maybe to be more like the ICD, I don't know). There is growing support to replace the entire DSM but it's a big money maker for the APA.

Psychiatrists have the drugs, Go that route if you're feeling down. I'm sure they have something that will put a smile on your face!
