Is a Black Knight upper playfield supposed to be glued down?

So we picked up a basement-dwelling black knight the other day. Heavy ball marks on it, but it'll make a nice player's machine. I'm trying to remove the upper playfield, and it seems to be glued down in one part. The back right of the playfield will not come off, and when I pull the upper playfield apart from the lower, I see what looks like strands of glue coming apart underneath. Is the playfield supposed to be glued down? If so, how are you supposed to remove it? If not, what am I missing? I removed the four big screws, and have undone all the connecting ramps, including the sides. Is there something else?

I have a black Knight and couldn't remove the upper for some reason. Too much a pain in the ass!

Did you remove the screw in the upper right. You'll need a long thin phillips to get to it as its located within a hole inside the side rail and accesses through the top).
Here is a pic of the hole - the playfield is upside down, but you can see it in the lower left of the photo. http://www.marcustrevino.com/pinball/BK/BK009.JPG

+1 this screw is very well hidden. Once it is removed it will lift off easily.

That would be what I missed. Geeze, that's insane.

I really would never have found that on my own. Wish I could repay ya. Hmm. We share a building with a vending machine company. Want a box of expired snacks? ;P
