Quoted from inhomearcades:

almost every single person would take a VE

I would change that to "most". There are a fair number of people who really like the old style cabinet and others who still like incandescent lighting.

I was looking for an IM and would have been happy with either the 2010 or VE. There are pluses and minuses for both (as discussed). For me condition was the biggest thing and obviously VE's tend to be in nicer condition overall due to their newness. Still an HUO original owner 2010 is likely going to be a pretty "minty" pin. I found a VE and I'm happy about that because I'm a big fan of LED's and I do like the slightly angled display. They both play the same and that's the most important.

Nice "perfect three"--that DK is sweet!

He meant Pin-Bot......but DK is cool also.

Quoted from usandthem:

You said above that you don't want to mention any specifics, and I respect your decision. However, there's a part of me that just wants to put it out there. People always talk on here about the free market ruling. And yes, if you can get $5700 for your NIB IMVE, then yes, the free market certainly rules for you--haha.
For me, part of the "free market" is calling out those who we feel may be exploiting things a little bit. That way, people will be able to make a "free market" decision about whether or not they want to do business with those people.

All I know is that I was on a mad hunt for an IM.....you know how it is when you have cash in your pocket and know what game you want. I called all the usual suspects......the end result is that I now know who I'll call next time and who I won't.

Quoted from RonB:

I'm going to have to check out an IM asap!

(and you can't talk about Kate w/o posting a pic!)

NSFW! And I'm not at work!

Kate is one of those rare birds that I'd have to do twice in one go....because the first time would barely qualify as foreplay.
